Today, our Kodama Koi Farm is the biggest user of our own Manda Fu koi food. Our Manda Fu Kodama Koi Food is a genuine, high quality product formulated in Japan. Fu is a Japan ‘s traditional food material with the history of about 600 years. We pride ourselves on selecting only authentic Japanese breed koi and we treat our food with the same respect.
Think about how you feed yourself? If you want your koi to look like Champion Koi, you should feed them food designed by Grand Champions. Fish are friends, think about their food. Just like a person you are what you eat. Buy it for their health.
The Best Koi Food Treats!
Koi fish go crazy over Manda Fu Kodama Koi Food as soon as you throw a bit in the pond. Not only that, they enjoy eating the Manda Fu koi food and it actually helps them with their digestion even when the temperature is low. It is a formulated koi food best for autumn, winter, and spring, but really Koi treats for all year round.
Manda Fu – Koi Food for Low Temperature
As the temperature goes down koi’s digestive system slows down, and this is a big factor in growing koi. Choose this koi food for koi to eat out of your hand, and to give them a treat they will love, that is healthy!
Mr. Kodama himself dedicated his life and spent years studying the Koi fishes, their behavior, and environment. It’s all worth it, years in the making. Kodama Farm uses this formulated food that makes them one of the best-known champion breeders and Manda fu is one of the top koi foods we recommend.

I have ordered this product several times and highly recommend it! My koi go absolutely crazy for it. My daughter loves to hand feed the fish and “pet” them as they swim past, nibbling on the food. We typically crumble them into 1/4 the size as my fish are 6″-14″ and the smaller ones wouldn’t stand a chance. It gives a great chance for you to learn just how cool your fish really are.

Koi crack!
My koi will kill for this, actually so will my dogs! Wish it wasn’t always out of stock everywhere, glad to find it here, even if more expensive.

My koi enjoy this easy to digest food as fall arrives and their appetite dwindles. Only wish would be for a smaller size “nibble” for my smaller koi. As it is, I crumble it a bit for them, but something less than half the size would be perfect for them

3 out of 50 Koi fish ate this but not excitedly as they do for Hi-Silk. Perhaps it’s just our fish given only favorable reviews. Will try something else.

My Koi love this food. This is how I taught them to eat out of my hand. Now I can even pet them.

A good product that we use as mostly a treat for our koi. Kodama Koi gets us our orders in a timely manner.

We have about 40 Koi and I had never heard of Manda Fu. I was out and about and talked to a man that had a pond and he told me about this. WIN! It’s a blast to watch the fish eat this up! It’s gone in minutes. I can’t say if you can use only this, you may need to get nutrient from other food, but this is a major treat!

Our Koi have been eating this food for a year or so and they have matured at a steady pace. Some of our jewels have doubled in size during this period of time.

I have not received the product yet and it has been 10 days and I am still waiting for the product.

My koi enjoy Manda fu. I fieed it in the mornings with a premium food. I used to use a color food but the Manda fu brings out the brilliant, reds and yellow. Make the white so shiny and clear. Fish look great.

I have been feeding this to our Koi for the past 3-4 years. They seem to like it and I always try to have some extra on hand.

I’ve been buying Manda Foo as part of my spring and fall feeding regime and treats for many years. Most of my koi line up or butt in line for more! I feel safe feeding Manda Foo in the spring when it may be hot outside with fish showing signs of wanting to eat but temps dropping at night. Although most could eat the treats whole, I break into 2 or 3 smaller sizes which makes it perfect for hand feeding. The powder at the bottom of bag is good to feed the smallest fish. Note: Manda Foo is used as a partial feeding with a good barley food in Spring and Fall.

I have been using this product for over 5 years. It is amazing. My fish can never get enough. We feed it spring, summer and fall. You cant go wrong with Manda Fu Koi Food. We call it Koi Krack. If you want to teach your Koi to hand feed this is the product to use.

Manda Fu is awesome for your Koi Fish
Koi fish go crazy over Manda Fu as soon as you throw a bit in the pond. The bites are good sized so small koi might have troubles eating them before the larger koi scoop them up.

If you would like your Koi to eat out of your hand (or as close as you want to get to them) then this is the Koi food to get. My Koi love this food and I never see them more active then when they know I about to hand feed them.

Hand feeding koi might not be the best thing since you don’t want the koi to swim up to anything that might be at the edge of the pond (like predators). However, if you want to train your koi to hand feed, this is the best stuff to use. The koi love it and I like it that it has ingredients that are healthy for the koi. The pellets are soft and while they will melt in the water, you can easily break them into smaller pieces for the little tosais. It’s a lot of fun to hand feed. Another great product to try from Kodama is their Hi-Silk food. I used it as a supplement to the food that I have been using and I believe I saw better growth and color. I’m going to experiment with it again this season. Here’s a video of my hand feeding efforts – Thanks Kodama Koi Supply for a great product!

If you love your fish you should get this food
Great food! Looks like Cheetos when you get them. I have a variety of koi in my pond. Meaning large adults to small babies and they all are able to eat it. The longer it sits in the water the softer it gets. Making it easier for the fish to consume. The fish can smell the food. I was able to feed my koi out of my hand!

We have been feeding Mandarin Furniture Koi Food for 7 years. It is the best. While a bit expensive and getting harder and harder to buy, it is by far worth it.
Our Koi love this as a treat or a supplement to their daily food. Thank you Kodama Koi for having a reasonable inventory. We will start using your Web site to buy this product.

just learned of this product…VERY PLEASED! Koi can be picky in the early spring start-up…BUT they go to this product like it is a drug, they cannot wait to inhale it. Definitely will be one of my regular feeds for early season and treats!

My koi go nuts for this! Best way to get koi to hand feed, easy to break up into smaller pieces for smaller koi (love it) highly recommend. Worth it ! Will keep your koi very happy!

I tried MandaFu for the first time this spring, and am very happy with it. Just wish there had been a smaller pellet option available. I have to break them up since I do have some smaller fish.

My koi love the food greatly. However I think that $28 + dollars is very high, when you consider that a package only weigh’s 3/4 of a pound..

Fish seem to like it ok but not necessarily better than anything else. I agree with the review that a smaller size would be nice. I had intended to use it as a “treat” but instead will use as cool weather food.

Manda fu is the all-time best cold season food I’ve found for my fish — spring and fall. They love it and it contains more nourishment than cheerios! I’ve been using it for years.

Mandifu is an excellent source of nutrition for your koi. The koi love it so much that they will eat it right out of your hand. It’s great. I love the product.

No idea what this stuff is. It seems to have no smell, kinda reminds me of Cheetos, but my koi love it! It feels crunchy out of the package, but turns mushy after only a few seconds in the water. It’s like styrofoam packing peanuts, but whatever it is, it makes my koi happy. To me it’s worth it’s weight in gold!

I have been giving manda fu to my koi for 3 or 4 years as a treat. They love it and readily eat it out of my hand.
huffkecki (verified owner) –
This stuff looks and feels like orange Styrofoam, but my koi go crazy over it! I have no idea what it’s made of, the guys love the stuff and it certainly doesn’t do them any harm. So I give it to them as a treat!

Mandu Fu may look weird all my Koi love it.

Manda Fu advertises itself as the treat that makes koi eat out of your hand. I can attest this is absolutely true. Several of my somewhat skittish koi push each other out of the way to eat Manda Fu from my hand. It is pretty neat to finally be able to pet my koi. I will definitely buy more.

I ordered manda fu but received hi silk instead. I cannot return it as I ripped open the bag to show the “manda fu” to an interested visitor and found the kibbles inside instead of manda fu. I had thought the manda fu might be in different packaging now…without thinking in my eagerness to show “manda fu” to this person. NowI have a huge bag of silk food and no manda fu.
